College Day

 

As our academic year is going to end. Before that in a miniature form we are celebrating our college day. 

The 18th College Day celebration at PTM 

College of Education, Maruthoorkonam, took place successfully on Friday, August 9, 2024, in the Dr. C.P. Sreekandan Nair Memorial Hall. The event commenced promptly at 10:00 AM, with the college principal, Dr. Anu Krishnan R., extending a warm welcome to all attendees.

A key highlight of the event was the presence of the distinguished Chief Guest, Gireesh Puliyoor, a celebrated poet, lyricist, and commentator. In his keynote address, he offered inspiring insights into the importance of education and the role of creativity in teaching. His words resonated with the audience, leaving a lasting impact on both students and faculty.

The day featured various cultural performances by students, showcasing their talents in music, dance, and drama. These performances highlighted the diverse skills and creativity of the student body, bringing vibrancy to the event. Awards were also presented to students who excelled in academics, co-curricular activities, and sports over the past year, acknowledging their dedication and hard work.

The Manager, Mr. Abhilash D.S., and the Convenor, Smt. Jayashree S.O., were pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of the program. Their efforts, along with the collaboration of the entire staff, were crucial in making the College Day a memorable occasion. The 18th College Day was a resounding success, fostering unity and pride within the college community.
